✦For the therapist whose clients say “I wish I'd found you sooner”

People land onyour page. Thennothing happens.

Give me ten minutes with your page. I'll usually see what you haven't noticed in two years.

In your sessions you change lives. On your website you sound like everyone else. I'll show you how to turn what you actually do into words that land the moment they're read, so the right person thinks “that's me” before they've finished the sentence.

?Sound familiar

You're not losing clients because you're not good enough.

01

“Less experienced coaches keep winning the clients I should be getting.”

They're not better. They're just easier to understand at a glance.

02

“I spend the first 45 minutes of every call explaining what I do.”

Your page should have done that before they booked. Every minute spent explaining is a minute not spent helping, or closing.

03

“I know I'm good. Why don't they get it from my website?”

Because expertise doesn't translate itself. The better you get, the harder it becomes to describe what you do the way a stranger needs to hear it.

You're losing them because the person reading your page can't see what you see, and no one has ever shown you how to put it into words.

One more client a month. What's that worth to you?

Put your own numbers in and see what one more client is worth to you. The maths assumes a page that reads clearly doubles bookings, the most conservative shift I see.

Quietly leaking
€7,200 / year

is what one more client a month adds up to, €600 every month, from people who already came, read, and left without a word.

Not because you're not good. Because they couldn't see it.

↔Same expert. Same service. Different words.

Value, translated into voice.

None of these people changed what they do. They changed what a stranger can see in the first six seconds.

Before

“I provide legal advice on reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.”

Commercial lawyer
→
After

“I read your contract the way the other side's lawyer may read it one day. The difference is that I do it while there is still time to fix things.”

Why it works: the reader now has an opponent, a moment and a deadline. “Legal advice” had none of the three.

Before

“I offer professional wedding photography at competitive prices.”

Wedding photographer
→
After

“I photograph the moments you may never see for yourself, like your father wiping his eyes during your first dance.”

Why it works: one specific image does what “professional” and “competitive” never can, it makes the reader feel the loss of not having it.

Before

“We are optimising your internal processes to improve efficiency.”

Operations consultant
→
After

“In 30 days, no one on your team will spend Monday mornings writing a report nobody reads.”

Why it works: a date, a scene and a small, recognisable pain. Efficiency is an abstraction; Monday morning is a memory.

!Why this happens to the best people

You are the last person who can see your own value.

Ten years in, the things that make you extraordinary feel ordinary to you. So you leave them out, and describe the category instead.

I call it the Seeing Gap: the distance between what you know you do and what a stranger can see on your page. Every unread website, every “I'll think about it”, every client who chose someone louder lives in that gap.

It isn't closed with more content, a new logo or a bigger ad budget. It's closed with a translation, from your value into their language.

Most experts todayInvisibleYour page describes a category. The reader can't tell you apart from the next tab.
VisibleThey understand what you do. They can even picture a moment of it. They still don't know why it should be you.
Where we're goingUnforgettableThey repeat your sentence to someone else. That's when you become the obvious choice.
3The Value to Voice™ method

Three moves. From what you know to what they see.

Not a template. Not “write like a copywriter”. A linguist's method for finding the sentence that was always yours, and putting it where a stranger will read it first.

Move one

Find

We dig out the value you've stopped noticing: the thing your best clients would say about you, the moment your work actually changes something.

What do you do that you assume everyone does?
Move two

Shape

We turn it into the reader's language, a scene they recognise, a moment they fear or want, a result with a date on it.

Not “I help you communicate better”. “Your Monday report, gone.”
Move three

Check

We test every sentence against one stranger's eyes. Does it pass the six-second read? Does it survive without you in the room?

If they'd forget it by lunch, it isn't finished.

The result isn't “better copy”. It's a page that does the first 45 minutes of your call for you, and sends the right people to book.

NMeet Nina

A linguist who spent fifteen years watching brilliant people describe themselves badly.

I'm Dr Nina K. Divina. I hold a doctorate in linguistics and I've written for more than a hundred brands. But the work I care about started the day I noticed a pattern.

The best expert in the room was almost never the one who got chosen. The one who got chosen was the one a stranger could understand fastest. That gap between being good and being seen is what I've spent the last decade closing, one sentence at a time.

Value to Voice™ is the method that came out of it. I teach it in my book, in the course, and, for a few people at a time, side by side.

Away from the desk, I travel far with my husband and our son. I write those trips down at We'd Go Back, our family travel site.

?Before you ask

Fair questions.

What is Value to Voice?

Value to Voice is a method and a small studio for therapists, coaches and expert founders whose website undersells them. Dr Nina K. Divina, a PhD linguist, finds the value clients actually buy, shapes it into plain words and checks it with a stranger's read, so the right client recognises themselves on the first screen.

Who is Nina K. Divina?

Dr Nina K. Divina is a PhD linguist and copywriter with fifteen years of commercial writing for more than 100 brands. She founded Value to Voice and wrote Make Them See, a book on turning expertise into words people remember.

What is the Seeing Gap?

The Seeing Gap is the distance between the picture in your mind and the picture your words create in someone else's. The better you are at your work, the wider it tends to be, because expertise compresses what you know. You can only measure it with another person, which is why Value to Voice ends every rewrite with a stranger's read: Find, Shape, Check.

Isn't this just copywriting?

Copywriting starts from the page. Value to Voice starts from you. Most experts don't have a writing problem. They have a seeing problem. they can no longer tell which part of their work is remarkable. We fix that first. The writing gets easy afterwards.

I'm a therapist / coach. Won't “selling” sound wrong for my field?

The examples on this page don't sell. They describe, specifically, from the client's side. A father wiping his eyes is not a sales line; it's the truth about what a photographer sees. Your version will sound like you at your most precise, not like an advert.

Do I need a new website first?

No. Words first, design second. Most of my clients keep their site and change the sentences on it. The ones who rebuild later do it with a page that already works.

How is the free read different from the course?

The free read shows you the gap on your own words. The course teaches you to close it, on every page, offer and post you'll ever write. Working with me means I close it for you.

What if I send my page and you find nothing wrong?

Then I'll tell you exactly that, and you'll have a linguist's confirmation that your page works. It has happened. Rarely.

Where are you based, and does it matter?

I write in British English for clients across the UK and Europe. Everything happens by e-mail and video, in your time zone.
